Bible Studies

Beginning on January 15th, West Point United Methodist Church will offer a course on the history of the United Methodist Church. The course will last five weeks and cover such topics as "Our Weslyan Heritage", "John Wesley's theology", and "How United Methodist's do Church".  Class will start at 7:00 PM and last about 90 minutes.  The course is structured so that anyone can enjoy and learn about who Methodists are regardless of what your background, (or lack thereof) is.  If you need more details, Pastor Jeff would be happy to provide them so please come join us.

Our Wednesday morning bible study will offer an adventure in exploring Peter's second letter and the Book of Jude in the bible.  The class will meet on 9:00 AM starting Wednesday January 14th.  The study will last nine weeks.  In addition, we will also be offering a study with Charles Coleson's newest book and study materials sometime in the very near future.

Disciple I will also start January 25th during our Souper Sunday venue.  Oftentimes when folks hear the words "Disciple I bible study" they think "Whoa, I couldn't do that!  I don't know enough about the bible."  Well if that's you, then the good news is that Disciple I is for you.  Disciple I covers roughly 75% of the entire bible and when the course is completed, you will have a more than adequate working knowledge of the bible.  If you know a little bit, or even a lot about the bible, then Disciple I is for you too.  You will be amazed at the new insights you gain from your time in this study.  Please consider prayerfully coming to join us in January.  For more details, please see Pastor Jeff.

Souper Sunday is our ongoing Sunday evening event and we are currently offering the following classes:  Alpha, Lighthouse, Little Beamers, a cooking class, and the Dave Ramsey Financial Freedom study.
